MEN'S MINISTRY

OVERVIEW

Welcome to the Men’s Ministry of Immanuel Baptist Church! As written in Proverbs 27:17, our purpose as the “IRON MEN OF IBC” is to help each brother sharpen themselves as Christian men in a walk with Christ.

Our goal is that all men come to faith in Christ and are on a path of discipleship, a continuous process that lasts from the moment we trust Christ as Lord and Savior to the day that we depart this earth and are present with the Lord. For we know that every disciple makes disciples.

As men, we all have many different roles that we fill: Sons, Brothers, Fathers, Colleagues, Friends, Leaders - the list goes on and on. IBC Men’s Ministry events and programming are designed to equip and disciple men in building authentic faith that permeates every facet of our lives, being lived out in our daily activities, modeled in our homes and communities, and passed down to the next generations.
 

With that said, as the IRON MEN of Immanuel Baptist Church, we are committed to building strong, Christ-centered, trusting relationships while addressing the needs of men of all ages in maintaining and enhancing their walk with God. Through prayer and purpose-driven focus, we will provide an open, safe, inviting, and supporting environment through a ministry to men that is led by men. One that strengthens, sharpens, nurtures, and grows our band of brothers as role models and leaders in our community through truth-based fellowship and discipleship.

Are you ready to start living the life that God has prepared you for as a leader in your home, your work, your community, and your church?

You can start by:

• Visiting and joining a Small Group/Bible Study Class is the first step in building community in the church. (Hebrews 10:25)

• Finding a place to serve. (1 Peter 4:10). We’re always looking for help with Ushers in the Parking Lots, Greeters in the Welcome Centers, Leadership at our Men’s events, or Volunteers to help in your kids’ Sunday School classes.

• Looking for discipleship opportunities. (1 Timothy 4:6-8)

Become a part of the IRON MEN OF IBC, in fellowship with other Christian Brothers at our events, podcasts, and in service.
